THE PROPERTY: Doomben Ridge a country guest house, located in Beechmont QLD on the beautiful Scenic Rim, is the perfect escape for anyone looking for a country getaway. The house is nestled among an abundance of native trees, filled with local wildlife, and accommodates up to 6 guests. We also have fenced horse paddocks and free-ranging animals, perfect for those who want to experience farm life. The property is shared with Chrissy's equine facility based at the bottom of the property so you may see Chrissy working horses and feeding from time to time.  The 3 bedroom guest house is set on 3 acres with fenced horse paddocks overlooking the distant surrounding hills. Whether you are seeking accommodation for a special event or wedding on the mountain, or just after a quiet getaway, Doomben Ridge welcomes all guests including couples, families with children and small groups of friends! ​ Relax within our cosy guest house. Enjoy a tranquil evening on the private verandah overlooking the surrounding hills. Listen to the wildlife that reside around you, or curl up inside by the wood fireplace with a glass of wine and enjoy the complimentary Wi-Fi and Netflix available for your stay. The guest house contains all the comforts of home including a smart TVs, main living room air-conditioning, equipped kitchen with a coffee pod machine, linen, towels, complimentary toiletries and more...   ​ Located at the side of the house there is a decked outdoor entertaining area with hanging festoon lights as well as an outside fire pit, BBQ and viewing deck perfect for sundowners! At the bottom of the property there is a large paddock fire pit with bench seating and festoons. ​ Generally you won’t notice any neighbours as the house is tucked away within the surrounding trees and gardens. We live on the property in a seperate cottage but let you do your own thing. You may see us about working and feeding the animals, feel free to say hello. We are happy to help.

ABOUT: Doomben Ridge was founded by Rob and Chrissy in 2021. “we wanted to create a cozy, country, secluded getaway that everyone would enjoy”. It’s about enjoying a few luxuries, reconnecting with nature, animals and one another while enjoying a drink and some cheese by the fireplace. Doomben Ridge was renovated in late 2020 with fresh paint and furnishings to accommodate their guests. Rob specialises in photography & media and Chrissy runs an Equine business. They also both own/run another weekender getaway on Beechmont called Fyrefly Retreat.

NEIGHBOURHOOD: Doomben Ridge Country Escape is located in the town of Beechmont in the Scenic Rim, which is tucked between the mountains of Springbrook and Tamborine. We are: 1 hour and 20 minutes from Brisbane, 18 minutes from the township of Canungra and 50 minutes from the Gold Coast. ​ Close to local venues including: Rosewood Estate (12 min), Providence Farm Hall (9 min), Binna Burra (17 min) Beechmont Estate (9 min).
