Plenty of restaurants serve up lashings of cuisine options, the shopping provides a good dose of retail therapy, while further afield, the surrounding region can be easily explored by car. With its 74 magnificent Whitsunday Islands and easy access to the incredible Great Barrier Reef, Airlie Beach is a launching pad like no other for Whitsundays tours. Here you can do everything from snorkel and scuba dive, to take a helicopter or seaplane flight, ocean raft, bushwalk National Parks and sail on a famous maxi yacht. These are just some of the 50 or so Whitsundays tours available.
