Gasthof Steinerwirt is a historic inn directly at the Untersberg Nature Reserve, just 4 km from Bad Reichenhall and the Salzburg Open-Air Museum at Großgmain. Salzburg’s Old Town and Salzburg Airport are within a 15-minute drive or bus ride. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine, using many products from the Steinerwirt’s own farm and butcher’s shop. The rooms are furnished in a classic country style and feature a flat-screen satellite TV, a safe, and a bathroom. Bus line 180 stops right in front and provides direct connections to Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall. The A1 motorway can be reached in a 10-minute drive. The Götschen Ski Area in Bavaria is only 13 km away.
