This 4-star hotel is located halfway between Saalbach and Hinterglemm, just 500 metres from the ski lifts. It offers a spa area, a kids swimming-pool, and free Wi-Fi. The spacious rooms all have a balcony. Featuring bright wooden furniture in a traditional Alpine style, Hotel Barbarahof’s rooms include a flat-screen cable TV, a seating area, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms offer panoramic mountain views. The Barbarahof’s restaurant includes a winter garden and serves Austrian and international cuisine, as well as fine wines. In winter, the ski slopes end right at the doorstep, and ski passes can be bought on site. In summer, guests can rent bicycles and play garden chess. Table tennis and tabletop football are also available. Entirely heated by renewable energy, the Barbarahof features a large garden with a petting zoo. Free private parking is available on site. Tickets for the Tauern Spa in Kaprun can be bought on site. In summer, the Joker Card is included in the rate. This card comprises many free benefits and discounts, including free use of the cable cars.
