The owners are lovely, they let me check in at early hours, fortunately the room was ready, and I could wash and tumble dry my clothing. Close to city centre, great cafes, and a wonderful vegan restaurant the “Lazy Bug”

Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, the units at DH Homestay Cao Bằng have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms come with a balcony. The staff were very helpful, the room was clean and the scooter we rented was new and in good condition which gave us a good ride to the Bang Gioc waterfall. Bus tickets directly from Cao Bằng to Ha Long were not easy to book online, but the young hostess managed to find a limousine to Ha Long for us at a good price. Highly recommended 👍😄
