El Hostel Old Town Kotor ocupa un edificio del siglo XIII y está situado en el centro histórico de Kotor, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Initially, we booked a room for two with private bathroom in a hostel, but on arrival the hotel staff offered us to stay in a much more upmarket apartment, the Pearl, as it was available for our dates. Thank you very much, it was a great experience. Instead of the small dark room with a view of the wall that we had originally booked, we got a whole luxury apartment in the center of the city. For anyone traveling to Kotor, I recommend not being greedy and booking Pearl right away if you want to stay in comfort and privacy. The only thing is, since the apartment is located right in the center of the old town with narrow streets, it is dark enough inside even during the day and cool enough (we stayed in October). This is not a flaw, just a detail.

The hostel is strategically located in the center of Old Town Kotor close to all the attractions, restaurants and cafés. Rooms are very clean and tidy and beds are big and very private with their own curtains. Everything looks very new or recently renovated. It has a great and well equipped kitchen and the common areas are also spacious and confortable with great views of the town. They provide towels and free lockers. Ivan, from the staff, was super helpful and shared a lot of information about restaurants, activities and things to do in Kotor. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent; the beach is just outside, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the old town and a 10-minute walk to the entrance of the fortress trail. Upon check-in, the owner provides a very detailed introduction to Kotor. Every night, social events are organized for guests, including some drinking games and visits to the bars in the old town. The common area on the second floor has fantastic views. If you enjoy socializing, you're welcome to join everyone; if you prefer peace and quiet, this place is also very suitable. Trust me, you will love it here! 🌊🏰
