El hostel es de una familia y tienen un terreno grande con árboles y naturaleza. Está a tan solo 2 mins de una calle principal donde puedes coger los Tuk tuks y desplazarte . Ahí encontrarás más restaurantes. Ellos fueron encantadores preguntándome y recomendándome sitios o ayudándome con lo que necesitara saber sobre el viaje. Son encantadores y tienen dos hijos preciosos y muy buenos. La habitación tiene varias camas pero es grande y el baño está en la propia habitación, también grande y limpio, con lo básico necesario. Me ha encantado estar en esta estancia, de las más bonitas de mi viaje.

The private room I had was clean and comfortable. The hosts were both so sweet and pleasant to interact with. Lastly proximity to Cargill’s Food City really sealed the deal.

Very clean, and above all, the people are amazing. Kani is extremely friendly and kind. He did so many things for me!! I also admire his way of thinking—he truly values encounters and connections with people. You can see it not only in his words, but also in his actions. Thank you for the precious experience in Sigiriya!! Highly recommended!!! Some people may think it’s a bit far from Sigiriya Rock, but actually the entrance is on the west side, and I believe this is one of the few places within walking distance around there.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was amazing - super spacious and so comfortable - we even extended an extra night. It felt like we were in a safari lodge! It was so quiet and peaceful. The staff are also amazing and the meals were incredible! Thank you!

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and comfortable, breakfast was always delicious, and the one dinner I had there turned out to be the best meal of my trip — tasty, generous, and great quality. What really made it special was the people. Maliya was so kind and helpful, always there if I needed anything. He even took me to a beautiful sunset spot nearby and walked me to the bus stop when I checked out. Those small gestures really meant a lot and made the stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!

Hakuna Matata Hostel está ubicado en Sigiriya, a 3,3 km de Sigiriya Rock y a 6,5 km de Pidurangala Rock. Diwa was just incredible. The place in new and amazing, he took care of every little detail, making my stay just perfect. The breakfast was awesome as well, the best one I had in Sri Lanka

Hello Aliya Hostel está ubicado en Sigiriya, a 13 minutos a pie de Sigiriya Rock, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y una terraza. Staying at Hello Aliya feels less like a hostel and more like staying at an old friend’s house. The owner Isu is incredibly kind and respectful. The hostel is brand new so everything is incredibly clean. It is situated just off the main road. 2 minute walk to the bus stop, 10 mins walk to the entrance of Lion’s Rock, and a 10 minute drive to Pidurangala peak. I really enjoyed my stay there. As a solo woman, I felt safe and welcomed. The breakfast is lovely and the staff even taught me how to play carrom. After one month of traveling Sri Lanka, this is by far my favorite hostel.
