Been on a backpacking trip in Srilanka for a week till now . As far as I have seen this is the best value for money dorm I have been in . Hopefully I'll come back here soon

Our stay at Ku’Vana Hostel Kandy was truly enjoyable. The room is simple and very comfortable, with clean and cozy beds that made for a good night’s sleep. Bathrooms are well maintained and tended to daily, which we really appreciated. The facilities are straightforward, but everything worked smoothly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The location is excellent just a short distance from the city centre, making it easy to explore Kandy, yet still quiet enough to enjoy some peace. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was a highlight delicious, generous, and a great start to the day. For the price this hostel offers exceptional value. Clean, convenient, and filled with genuine hospitality it felt more like staying with friends than in a hostel. We would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Kandy.

The hosts are incredible, they meet you with a welcome drink, provide home cooked meals for breakfast lunch and dinner with produce from their garden, currency exchange, laundry, tips and advice, answer any questions and can provide lifts into town. Nothing is too much trouble and they want you to have the best stay. The property is beautiful with amazing views of the hills and the facilities are very clean and private. While you eat in their home with them, the dorm and bathroom is in a separate building that also has privacy. The room has lockers and mosquito nets for each bunk and there is fast WiFi. There is also a fan in the room and drinking water available free of charge.

Contando con WiFi gratis y un jardín, Catch The Ella Train Hostel ofrece hospedaje en Kandy, a 1.8 km de Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens y a 6.7 km de Kandy railway station. Esta en una ubicación optima para coger el tren a Ella, así como a muy poco tiempo del centro de Kandy, el desayuno está espectacular, cuenta con baño compartido, habitación muy limpia y con mosquitera. Es un alojamiento en el que lo mejor es dejarse llevar por el host, Ashanka, el cual nos acompañó y guió por Kandy, dándonos un tour genial para conocer la ciudad desde el punto de vista más local. También nos ayudo a cambiar divisas y nos asistió en la compra de billetes para el tren y el embarque en el mismo. Un crack.

Jude es muy atento y está al pendiente de cualquier necesidad. Muy limpio y ordenado. Aunque está lejos de Kandy, para mí estuvo muy bien ya que prefiero la tranquilidad y el contacto con la naturaleza. El desayuno muy rico! . Muy buena relación calidad-precio
