Being in Nuwara Eliya was a welcome break from heat! Comfortable bed, room had a small table with two chairs and a sofa bed. Nice that the wall socket had two USB ports. Large spacious bathroom with great hot water. Nice western breakfast of fruit, omelette and toast. We hiked to Single Tree Hill and to Lover’s Leap Waterfall from the house. Haran the host spoke excellent English and his multicultural background enables him to be super welcoming. When he offered to cook dinner for us, I asked to watch his preparations and spent a delightful two hours learning about making curries, as well as learning more about the culture. Dinner was an excellent value as the portions were generous and food was freshly prepared.

Vilona Inn está ubicado en Dehintalawa, a 34 km de Lago Gregory y a 36 km de Real Jardín Botánico de Peradeniya. Staff is freindly and Place is clean. Good and Safe for local as well as Foriengers who are visiting Ramboda, or Kothmale side. Located facing hill side as well.

Laxapana Wilderness Homestay ofrece solo para adultos en Norton Bridge con un jardín y salón compartido. I had a great time with Prasad and his family. The food here tastes great and is traditionally prepared. The room is well equipped, the bed is comfortable and I even had my own tea corner with a boiler. The accommodation is not centrally located. So you have to think twice about whether you need anything else from the city before travelling to the accommodation. On the other hand, you are right in the countryside and there is no city noise. He is a wonderful host and I can recommend him to all travellers in Sri Lanka. Thank you for letting me stay with you, Prasad :)
