The owner’s warm and welcoming personality adds to the charm of this stay. They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

沼津ライダーハウスしんちゃん está ubicado en Numazu, a 6 minutos a pie de Playa Senbon, y ofrece servicio de conserjería, habitaciones libre de humo, un jardín, wifi gratis y una terraza. Lovely stay in a lovely location, just minutes away from transport, about ten steps to a local mart, not far from a clothes washing facility and most importantly for us it was close to the water and a lovely park. The facilities are clean, the traditional beds comfy, and having a small grill for rotating and cooking was an added bonus. The hosts were so lovely and made the stay one of our most favourite ones from our time in Japan.

Best view of the bay! Great price! Short walk to the beach, friendly host speaks English well and gives great recommendations for food and beaches in the area. Absolutely favorite place I've stayed in Japan so far!

Nos alojamos en familia con niños de 9 y 11 años durante 4 noches. El hostel es muy bonito y acogedor y tiene todo lo que necesitas. Baños, duchas, cocina y una zona común grande. Nos gustó el relax y la calma del lugar, todos se conocen en el pueblo, te saludan por la calle. Kosei y su familia son muy atentos y amables y muy disponibles para ayudarte. Nos encantaría volver y que coincida en fin de semana para poder participar en las actividades de la zona.

What the town lacks in attractions, the hostel itself compensated in facilities (1 person onsen, communal area with a relaxing vibe and the option to buy drinks, clean sleeping area etc) & great services. Also it's really close from Shin-Fuji station, as well as a few shops and places to eat. The owner/person working at reception is a really cool guy who knows English that recommended some great places to take photos of Mount Fuji (ありがとうございます). Overall great price-value accommodation.

El Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel, abierto desde junio de 2015 y situado a solo 7 minutos a pie de la estación de tren JR de Nagoya, ofrece alojamientos modernos. Such a nice place to visit, with fine accessibility from Nagoya station and the owner's hospitality. Willing to visit here again if I travel Nagoya someday :)

Yado KONAMI está ubicado en Shimoda, a a pocos pasos de Playa Ohama de Shirahama, y ofrece alojamiento frente al mar y servicios como un jardín. The facility is little old, but very clean and the staff is very attentive and considerate.. we will definitely go back.. its like youre staying at the house of a japanese family back then. The toilet is old style but no problem at all.. the water is clean the bed sheets and bath is clean the kitchen stuffs also..

Shiro and Claire are super friendly and made us feel at home. It was a privilege to stay at their 1910 built Japanese traditional farmer’s house that gave us a great experience of Japanese country living.
