Owner was very friendly and happy to give advice on places to go and she made you feel very welcome. This was the best accommodation we stayed in on our week's holiday in Iceland, would definitely stay again on a return visit. The communal space was spacious despite there only being 3 bedrooms, the bedroom itself was small but clean. The kitchen although small was very well equipped. El Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse se encuentra en la famosa ruta turística Círculo Dorado y ofrece vistas al lago Laugarvatn, al volcán Hekla y al glaciar Eyjafjallajökull. We liked the house and the books in the shelfs. The restaurant is nice and the staff was excellent.
