Located in Fludir, 25 km from Geysir, Efra Sel Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Very clean and spacious room, the guesthouse has also a living room/kitchen area with nice view. The kitchen is well equipped and we even had a coffee from a machine, enjoying our morning on the terrace. The staff - owners that we met are very friendly and open.

The units will provide guests with a fridge. Owner was very friendly and happy to give advice on places to go and she made you feel very welcome. This was the best accommodation we stayed in on our week's holiday in Iceland, would definitely stay again on a return visit. The communal space was spacious despite there only being 3 bedrooms, the bedroom itself was small but clean. The kitchen although small was very well equipped. The washer/dryer in the bathroom was also a perk The photos don't do it justice, they make the communal area/kitchen look much smaller then what it was

Guests can choose between rooms with private or shared bathrooms. We liked the house and the books in the shelfs. The restaurant is nice and the staff was excellent.

The Bobby Fischer Chess Museum is 1 minutes’ walk away. Selfoss Golf Centre is 1.1 km from the hostel. Efficient self check-in, clean room and shared bathroom, very comfortable bed, free parking. Hotel staff (Paulina) is so friendly and nice person, and she recommended places to visit nearby Selfoss city. I may visit again to see Aurora during winter.
