Great kitchen area with eating tables, fridge, and toaster/microwave for hostel guests. Staff accommodated a late check-in. Easy, 5-min drive to Tasch train station. Great location for touring Zermatt. Just for information, smoking is allowed in the restaurant downstairs.

Grand Hotel du Cervin - Auberge de jeunesse et spa está ubicado en Saint-Luc, a 34 km de Crans-sur-Sierre, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado, salón compartido y una terraza. The recent refurbishment is classy and stylish. The pool is swanky with huge windows looking out over the mountains, ditto for the spa which is 13chf extra per day and worth a visit. Breakfast is ample with lots of choice. No complaints at all! Staff are nice too. I stayed in a mixed dormitory because the hotel was full so no female dorms were set up. The room was big. For a youth hostel it’s not cheap but what can I say, it is Switzerland so what can you do? It’s a 7 minute walk to the funicular which drops you into the ski resort. I loved the skiing. Lots of red runs and many drag lifts.
