Next to the bed, that could be separated from the common area by a folding screen, there were three different socket outlets for your electric devices, which was very practical and comfortable. Also, the bedside lamp gave enough light to read, so you could stay awake reading as long as you liked without the common light turned on and without disturbing your room mates.

The hostel is in a very convenient location just a few block from the bus station. I liked the beds as they are on the floor, no top bunks. The room is very spacious with lots of windows for goo ventilation. There is a large well equipped kitchen and a laundry room on site. As with all hostels I stayed in while in New Zealand, nothing is complimentary. No coffee, sugar, soap powder, towel or anything. You will pay a premium for any of these items.
