The staff, Ruby and Rien are wonderful, friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. The roof-top terrace is where I watched the sun rise in the mornings and had an evening smoke, the location is excellent.

Location is what brought me there and it didnt disappoint. quite central and with a pathway leading straight into a swimming area of the lake. several lounge chairs around that the guests can use cleaning is very good, and some of the cleaning tasks happen more than once a day (and that is very visible to maintain the place clean) staff is super nice, highlighting Ali and Victoria, always with a great smile that raises the vibe and also Enzo and the organized activities are a nice add on

Comfortably the best hostel we have ever stayed in! Fantastic place to stay and actually gutted we only had one night in Bacalar and at this hostel, if we were to re-do our trip we would certainly spend more time in this fantastic town and hostel!

I highly recommend this place. The property is well located in Bacalar, close to a cute parc with many restaurants and to the laguna’s public pier. The shared kitchen and bathroom are really clean and well-furnished. What we liked the most about this place is the kindness of the staff! They are dedicated to provide the best experience for their guests - always there to answer any questions and help with activities booking.

Beds were comfy, and the room is well-equipped for humid, hot nights. It was overall clean. The common areas are simple but good enough to chill. The host and volunteers were very friendly, too!

wonderful staff, breakfast included from 8am to 10am. access to their beachside location included - was beautiful spot! parking included but street parking very safe. people were very quiet and respectful. our private room had A/C and fan, large room

This is by far best hostel I have ever stayed at! It feels more like a home than a hostel, this is down to the staff, they make you feel part of their community. I honestly don’t have a bad word to say - it was super special - I just wish I stayed for longer!! Amazing places to chill, good beds, incredible kit eh and beautiful doggy!

Very nice spacious room. Awesome shower, hammock in the room which was cool for hanging out! Complementary coffee and a good location. What more does one need? That’s right, nothing ;)
