The hostel is nicely located inside the Fort. The room has a touch a good taste with the decoration, matching the style of the house. And even had a gorgeous view of the Fort and the city from the window. They have a great rooftop where I relaxed and enjoyed the sunset ... and the breakfast ... and dinner. Yesss the food! Raju (the cook) prepares really delicious meals. Cheese Naan was my favourite. If it gets bit cold on the rooftop, there is a nice common open area next to the kitchen to lay and chill with other travellers. I had a great time chilling with the guys working/helping in the hostel. Ha-lucky (he is running this place) is a master! He is always helpful, gentle, with his friendly smile, making you feel comfortable ... man you work a lot !!! He even picked me up (for free) from the bus stand. Thanks for everything, your hostel and your vibe made my time in Jaisalmer one of the best moments I experienced in India. Big hug and hope to see you all again.

I had an incredible stay at Art Hostel Cafe! The place has such a welcoming vibe — cozy seating, great music, and a friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to meet other travelers or just enjoy a quiet coffee. The food and drinks are fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. One of the highlights of my trip was booking their non-touristic desert safari. Unlike the usual crowded tours, this one takes you off the beaten path into the peaceful dunes, where you can truly enjoy the beauty and silence of the desert. Watching the sunset, having dinner under the stars, and sleeping out in the open was an unforgettable experience. It felt authentic, personal, and far removed from the commercial rush of typical safaris. If you’re in Jaisalmer, I highly recommend both the cafe and their desert safari experience. A perfect mix of comfort, community, and adventure!

Hachi Hostel Jaisalmer is the perfect place to stay! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The rooftop has an amazing view of the fort, especially at sunset. The staff are super friendly and helpful, always making you feel at home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming — perfect for meeting other travelers. Location is excellent, just a short walk to the main attractions. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Jaisalmer!

They are super professional, from beginning to the end (we came as their guests but we left as their friends with a promise to visit again). They offer free pickup from the train station, after that you can get some tea or coffee or you can go to the room. Rooms are also very clean and they provide all the facilities and also mineral water. In the morning we ate some eggs while watching the beautiful view from a rooftop area. We talked about safari with their uncle, who’s called “Tiger” and he has many experiences in the desert. After nice and not forced discussion we decided to do a non tourist safari, there we rode camels, talked about life in the desert, enjoy some snacks and homemade dinner, after that we slept under the stars. We were alone and the sky was beautiful. In the morning they cooked us again - their traditional breakfast, after that we rode the camels again and came back to the hotel. Tiger was really amazing as he also told us so many interesting facts about everything we’ve seen or asked. The owner of the hotel than offered us a room to freshen up, even though we had a night bus in the evening we left everything in the hotel, explore the city and then come back for the last tea and chat, after that they accompanied us to the bus station which was near by. We were sorry to leave so early as everything was so wonderful.

A Perfect Stay for Solo Travelers! I stayed at Thar Tribe Hostel while exploring Jaisalmer solo, and it was honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, helpful, and made me feel right at home. They were always ready with local tips, travel suggestions, and even helped organize a desert safari which turned out to be a highlight of my trip! The hostel has a super chill, social vibe—great for solo travelers looking to meet others. The common areas were clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or chatting with fellow guests. The dorms were well-kept, with comfortable beds, individual lockers, and good air conditioning (a must in Rajasthan!). Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Just a short walk to the Jaisalmer Fort and bustling local markets. I loved how everything was so accessible, yet the hostel was quiet and peaceful at night. The Wi-Fi was reliable, the bathrooms were clean, and the whole place had a warm, welcoming feel. I always felt safe and comfortable, which is so important when traveling solo. Highly recommend Thar Tribe Hostel to any solo traveler heading to Jaisalmer. I’d definitely come back

    One of the best hostel experiences in India so far. The people who run the hostel are super friendly, warm and welcoming. They organise games on their rooftop terrace, yoga for free, have a great rooftop view and decently clean rooms. Would recommend this stay!!!

    Great location, hostel looks amazing, the terrace has an awesome view. I think this is the best hostel in the city, I am really happy that I stayed there. Would reccomend!
