This was our second stay at Cabinas Algebra, returning after 16 months. I was pleasantly surprised to see the water pressure in the shower was improved. Which, after our first stay, was my only complaint. Now I have no complaints. This property is excellent value. A beautiful paradise in nature, nearby to the beach. The mother and son owners take excellent care of their guests and the on-site restaurant is really good. Highly recommended! We will be back!

My greatest concerns are always how clean bed sheets and bathroom is, and how confortable will the bed be, Nirvana met my expectations. Plus, within a 2 min safe walk you have restaurants, fun, and beach. Thanks Nirvana.

I loved my stay at La Tribu, it’s an amazing hostel and I was so relaxed there. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful common area, really friendly employees, bike rental (for 6$), everything in town is in close walking distance. I didn’t even mind to share the room with 7 others because there are toilets and showers outside in addition to the room’s bathroom.

The room excited my expectations, it was big, clean and the bed was comfortable. I found it nicer than the pictures. The common areas were very nice and the kitchen was great (probably the best kitchen I've had at a hostel). As a solo traveller I found it easy to meet people at the hostel. There's a big supermarket just across the street and an even bigger one just a few minutes away. It is not on the main street, so it's very calm and quiet at night, but it is close enough so you don't feel uncomfortable walking back in the dark, however would always recommend walking with someone if you can. It is close to restaurants, stores, busstation and the beach.

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel very much. The people, the animals, the nature and only minutes away from the beach ... amazing. The place was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the water pressure was great. We sat outside in the common area most nights playing cards and having a beer, the atmosphere was so welcoming.

AC in the dorms is a must, its really nice to come back to it after a sweaty day. I don't think the 8 person dorms have it, only the 5-6 person dorms do This hostel is on the beach, there is no floor its all sand so be prepared for that. The food at the bar is affordable and tasty. We see wild sloths IN the hostel EVERY day!
