It was just what we needed, thank you so much. Viviana and Carlos were lovely hosts. They helped us out getting around the island, and Carlos makes amazing food! Animals walking freely and peacefully and you really feel like you are in a dream island away from the busy tourism. The rooms are clean, and cleaned daily. I wish we could stay longer.

The location is absolutely great, the hostel isn't a 5 Star hotel, instead it is exactly what it needs to be. Comfy, super cute decorated, welcoming and the beach is on step next off the porch. I am incredibly happy that I came there even if was just for one night. The beach is lined with hotels but this one is definitely the nicest.

All hostels in Isla Grande

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

A lovely hostel that’s is more hotel than hostel. Beautiful room that was spotless. Sharing a bathroom with just one other room was no issue at all. Very social and with lovely staff. I enjoyed my stay from start to finish. The grounds and pool are lovely and it’s a short walk to Bora Bora beach club if you fancy some posing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great too. Try the ceviche! It’s delicious!

An amazing getaway from the busy Cartagena. The workers met us on the dock as we arrived and we all had a welcome drink. We booked the boat through the hostel and everything rang smoothly, although was on the pricier side. Reslly nice pool and plenty of room to chill out. They also had lots of activities to do with the hostel. Would definitely recommend!

The Secreto is indeed a little paradise. Nice hostel complex with pool and hammocks. Beautyful little private beach and possibility to cool down in the water, but also to swim. Really wellcoming staff make you feel good. Breakfast was good, other meals ok, but space for improvement

Lovely location, hostel staff were brilliant and very friendly, the activities (Subwing, bioluminescence, kayak) were really fun, there was a good buzz around the pool area during the day, seemed like the best hostel for young people on the island, walking to the beach across the island was only about 20 mins
