Henryk is a very welcoming host. The dormitory was really clean, and it is a great place to stay 15mins away from the city centre which makes the position of the hostel perfect - at a walkable distance from the centre, and at a quiet neighbourhood.

Great views. Can even eat outside on the balcony overlooking the snowy peaks. Lots of opportunities to mingle and chat with other guests. Away from the hustle-bustle of the town, but still within walking distance. I only booked here because the Interlaken Youth Hostel was booked, but I'm so glad it was, as this was a much nicer place.

So zen, comforting and cozy with panoramic views of the mountains. I am a girl traveling alone and it was the perfect safe stopover for me after a 14 mile hike. Staff was so friendly and helpful. It felt like they really wanted you there and cared about your stay. Hostel was clean and very comfortable. Hostel is about a 10 minute walk outside of Grindelwalds main strip, which gives it the calming charm I was in desperate need of. Breakfast was delicious too, prepared me for another long hike the next day.

Amazing views from the hostel. Breakfast was very enjoyable. I felt safe and slept reasonably well. I was surprised how diverse the age groups were of the other holiday makers.

Breakfast was delicious and had a great selection (and vegan/vegetarian options too). The staff were incredible helpful, and gave us great suggestions for hikes to do. The room was comfy and the hostel was quiet. The location was great as the bus stop was just outside and we were right next to the train station, which was convenient. The lodge’s restaurant was also good for a quick cheap eat. Also seemed to have lots of communal areas, pool table, etc if you wanted things to do.
