El niño Yousuf nos obsequió un incienso, nos pareció un detalle muy bonito de su parte. En general nuestra estancia fue muy agradable.

As it was low season we got a room upgrade to the double room instead of the twin room which was highly appreciated. Very nice room and perfect location from where you can oversee old Al Hamra. Nice rooftop terrasse to watch sunset/sunrise. Jebel Shams is just 1h 10 mins from here so can easily be done as a day trip. Owner was very kind and showed us the entire property. Around the house you can find some really cute goats.

It was a wonderful stay in Emina's guesthouse. Located in the old town of Haram, a small village, the property is a wonderful architectural gem with a fantastic roof terrace and great panoramic views of the mountains. The food is very lovingly prepared, I loved enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The room is beautiful, there are warm blankets, a very nice bathroom (with hot water) and I like the mix of modern and traditional. I was particularly impressed by the traditional beamed ceiling. The accommodation is easy to reach, there is a car park and is ideal for hiking or strolling through the beautiful (and huge) palm park that is directly adjacent. The accommodation is very safe and my every wish was met. An ideal place for travelers who want to stay in an authentic place. 5 stars and best wishes to Emina! The owner’s brother, Faisal, was very kind and helpful. He even drove us to a beautiful newly opened museum. His hospitality, so famous for Omanis, was fabulous.
