Bikram the host was proactive in getting in touch with us to confirm our arrival time and kept us posted when the room was ready. Location is perfect. A quick walk to lakeside. Place is nice and clean, both the room and the bathroom.

We arrived at the Panoramic View Hotel after a short one-minute walk down from the main road. Just a small note: the path is a little steep, so keep that in mind if you’re carrying a heavy backpack or rolling luggage. We were really lucky that the owner gave us one of his best rooms on the top floor — with a breathtaking 270° view. The room itself is spacious, simply furnished, and has a balcony. Honestly, the view says it all: on clear days you can see the Annapurna (from the terrace), and when it’s cloudy, you still get a sweeping look over the city, valley, lake, and even people paragliding. Absolutely stunning! Breakfast was simple but delicious, with portions that were more than generous. One evening, they even asked if we’d like dinner and served a home-cooked dal bhat that was really good. You can choose to eat in the dining area downstairs or upstairs, where the views keep you company. Note: Meals come with reasonable charge. ⭐ 200% for the view and hospitality!

Traditional Newari Homestay está ubicado a a menos de 1 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú y ofrece alojamiento con salón compartido, una terraza y cocina compartida para tu comodidad. El alojamiento superó mis expectativas en todo. La habitación muy amplia y espaciosa. La construcción robusta. Desayuno variado. Además el anfitrión muy auténtico que no dudo en dedicarme su tiempo para dar a conocer su barrio , su familia y sus aficiones. Sin duda un lugar a tener en cuenta si vistas Patan.

Bamby Chilling House - Feel The Nature está ubicado en Sauraha, a 2,5 km de Tharu Cultural Museum, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, un restaurante y un bar. Nirvana Kuti está ubicado en Katmandú, a 2,5 km de Swayambhunath y a 3,5 km de Templo de Swayambhunath. I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

Laxmi Homestay with main square view está ubicado a 2 minutos a pie de Plaza Durbar - Bhaktapur y tiene alojamiento con una terraza, un restaurante y servicio a la habitación para tu comodidad. The host, Nivan was one of the best hosts I’ve met. He took such pride and care into his guests, he toured us around at his own will and time, providing lovely knowledge and history in the culture of Bhaktapur. He even invited us to join him on his meditation, which was an experience in its own. I stated during the time of Dashain, a festival in Nepal. Nivan hosted a family dinner, which was delicious, and very traditional, as he explained they only eat like that during festivals. 10/10 experience. The location is also perfect, as you are a one minute walk from the square, and can see that along with the beautiful Himalayas, on the rooftop, where Nivan will most likely bring you tea, and explain more of the history and culture behind it. If you are looking for a good cultural experience, a good view, good location, anything, this is the place for you!!
