From the moment we arrived, we were greeted not just as guests, but truly as friends. The warmth and hospitality of Sudesh’s family made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip. The food was absolutely delicious – all home-cooked meals prepared with love by the owner’s family, and every bite felt like a taste of authentic Sri Lankan home life. The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!

Our 3-day stay at this villa was truly unforgettable, mainly because of the amazing host, Aunty Thennakoon. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with love and said, “Stay like your home and walk anywhere.” And honestly, we felt exactly that just like home. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and treated us like her own children. She even let us use her personal kitchen to cook our meals. She prepared a delicious homemade breakfast, beautifully presented and served with love. The place itself is very beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy quiet moments. The atmosphere was calm and felt very safe. More than just a stay, this was a heartwarming experience. Aunty Thennakoon’s exceptional hospitality made it special. We had lovely conversations with her, just like with a close relative. And created memories we’ll never forget. Thank you so much, Aunty Thennakoon. We will always remember you with love. ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, modern family home in Kandy... both the house and my room were spotless, with all the essentials provided, including a tube of toothpaste in the bathroom. From the moment I arrived, the host and his wife were incredibly kind and caring.. the breakfast she prepared was abundant and homey, just like a meal a mother would make for her children... It was a truly warm and welcoming experience, perfect for anyone looking for comfort and hospitality in Kandy.

Mountain View tiene una ubicación excelente en el centro de Kandy y tiene wifi gratis, un jardín y estacionamiento privado gratis. The family were so accommodating and were very helpful to share all the tours, local food, cheaper options for my trip. I’m a female solo traveller and I felt right at home here. The whole family made me feel very safe and Karunarathna waited for me at every stop of our tour. This place is very peaceful with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room is very clean, the bed comfy, the option of AC or Fan in the room. The whole family really go above and beyond for their guests and I’m so grateful for them. They are genuinely good people and want their guests to enjoy Kandy! Thank you guys for having me! ❤️
