熱海温泉 実の別荘 está ubicado en Atami, a 19 minutos a pie de Playa Atami Sun y a 27 km de Estación Hakone-Yumoto. Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Staff were great and friendly! They run a small cafe too so can get some decent coffee anytime. The lounge was ghibli themed and cosy with lots of suggestions for food and activities! Dorm room was as expected, lots of room for luggage.

La mujer de la casa te regala manju riquísimo que cocina ella y te explica como llegar a los templos, vive ahí mismo y es super servicial. ありがとう!!

長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel está ubicado en Shingu, a 5 minutos a pie de Kamikura Shrine y a 700 metros de Kumano Hayatama Taisha. The monk who runs the property was so helpful recommending local restaurants and giving advice and even gave us a lift to the station. There were free drinks including alcohol. The rooms are part of a temple. The hotel is very close to the main shrine and not far from the station so a great location. The place to stay in Shingu. Good value for money.

民泊 二見のおうち está ubicado en Futami, a 7,7 km de Oharai-machi y a 2,6 km de Santuario Futamiokitama, y ofrece aire acondicionado. Very authentic Japanese guest house experience with a lovely host. We stayed 3 nights and it allowed us to really explore Ise, Toba and Futamino rocks. Our host lent us bicycles which was fun to go to the rocks. It was very near a supermarket and local good Isekaya for food.
