If you are ever in Onomichi don’t hesitate to book this place, the kindness and hospitality of the owner alone is enough to make the stay worthwhile.

The building has been beautifully renovated, everything is new and plush. I’ve never stayed in such a first class hostel. The sliding doors for privacy by each bed are just great! The owner is lovely and strives to give an excellent service. He let me check in early because I arrived by bicycle (twice in fact). I returned because I liked it so much and felt at home. The place is probably the cleanest hotel in Japan, and that’s saying something. Also, the dining room chairs are so comfortable. Highly recommend.

Gamigami is located with a fantastic view across the inland sea with islands near and in the distance. It is a pity that cables are in this view as seen from the rooms but you can go up on the flat roof for an unobstructed view. It is not very far on a nearly flat road to the ferry to Onomichi so it makes a good last night if you are cycling from Imabari taking several days as we did. We had a comfort Japanese style room.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei está ubicado en Onomichi, a a pocos pasos de Templo Senkō-ji, y ofrece un bar y vista a la ciudad. Cant recommend it enough if you want to experience sleeping in a beautiful old Japanese house on a hill! The staff is very sweet, take their time to carefully explain everything. The stay also has a small cafe, where you can even eat your own outside food or just hang around. Room + the view from this stay is amazing! :)

88 House Hiroshima está ubicado en Hiroshima, a 5 km de Aeon Mall Hiroshima-Fuchu, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, salón compartido y una terraza. We had an excellent 3 night stay here! It's a beautiful big traditional Japanese house with the host living in a separate house next door. There are 3 rooms in the house so there is the potential to be sharing with other guests. Toilets, shower rooms and kitchen are shared. Our room was huge with futons, a table, and sliding doors that opened up to a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to hear the river rushing by right beside the house, and cool to stay in a quiet little neighborhood. The #29 bus is very easy to catch to and from Hiroshima station and it runs super frequently, so it wasn't a problem being slightly out from the city centre. We had a very relaxed and peaceful stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you to our wonderful and friendly host Kengo!

Our hosts, Genki and Emi, were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and kind!! Their home stay is beautiful and elegantly decorated. The bedding is crazy comfortable, like, best sleep of our trip good. And the location is great and near many good restaurants. Genki and Emi prepared many recommendations and tips for us, and we look forward to staying in touch!!
