He was so helpful at all times. The room was spacious, overlooking the beach with a little private balcony to chill in and read in the evening. Beds were super comfortable. A/C was effective and very quiet. The homestay is at the heart of Cherai beach, walking distance to everything on offer. We opted to have breakfast every day - you could choose Indian or continental. We opted for Indian. Lovely home cooked chana masala and various curries and huge fruit platter and traditional breakfast items were enjoyed every morning, with an explanation from Sajeev about what we were eating. Excellent value for money. We also had dinner a couple of nights which was also good value and very filling. You will never be hungry at Sajeev's place. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lovely large clean room with spotless modern bathroom. Great sea view from the rooms large double window. Excellent AC and fan kept the room cool. The balcony was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and huge quantities each day, served on the balcony. A different breakfast each day (dosa, apam,idli, hoppers, fruit, fresh juice, tea/coffee). Late afternoon tea and battered snacks provided each day. A useful shop downstairs. Over the road, then over a few rocks, it is possible to swim just 50m from the room - fantastic! The main beach is about a km up the road but I was happy with nipping over the wall. Very friendly and kind people running the place. Laxmi speaks excellent English.

This property is run by Sudheesh and his family. They make you feel at home. Although this is a business for them, it is clear that hospitality is a passion for them and they don't use the property as a pure money making machine like other places we have stayed at. They put their heart and soul into this property and making you feel welcome and they want to help you because they are kind people with good hearts. Staying here with my partner was lovely. It felt like having a piece of home in Kerala. The bed was so comfortable and the homemade breakfast was varied and delicious. Each breakfast was different and gave you an insight into South Indian food. Everything is fresh and some things are grown in their garden. The location is a short walk to the beach and there are many restaurants and bars nearby. Thank you to Sudheesh and his family for a lovely stay.

We stayed there 3 days while visiting Cherai beach . Stay was excellent and budget friendly. Spacious room, equipped kitchen, dining area and a balcony. Kitchen was having gas stove and essential kitchen vessels. We purchased some groceries and cooked ourselves. Good room, clean bathroom with hot water, friendly staffs. Walking distance to Beach. Make sure to have a night walk and dinner at the beach side hotels.
