We were given a welcome drink and a full explanation (and map) detailing all the best food places, attractions etc. Everyone who works there is so friendly and it felt like a home away from home! We were able to organise transport to Lake Toba with them as well as having an amazing guide, Ipoh, to take us to the volcano and hot springs. Honestly do the volcano tour if you stay here! It’s so well organised, our guide was really well informed and so friendly and even brought tea for us to enjoy with the sunrise! The rooms are pristine, it is probably the cleanest room we have stayed in during our 8 months of travelling. It smells so clean and the beds are really comfortable! It’s a great location within walking distance of everything you would need while staying there. We loved our stay here and we were honestly sad to leave!

Evergreen Lodge está ubicado a 2,3 km de Playa de Samudra y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, una terraza y servicio a la habitación para tu comodidad. The staff are super nice, felt like home. Loved the view from the property, nice location, and walking distance to many things. Felt very safe, the neighbours are also friendly. The puppies there (Blacky & Winnie) were so cute!

Hub Tata Guesthouse está ubicado en Tuk Tuk y tiene un jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Location is very nice at the end of the Samosir Island.

The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer, close to restaurants está ubicado en Padang, a 13 minutos a pie de Playa Air Manis, y tiene alojamiento con un jardín,... El personal que lleva el alojamiento muy atentos. Pudimos dejar las maletas durante tres días mientras hacíamos una excursión. Nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en cuanto a transporte y disponibilidad.

Jhony's Backpacker-Guest House only stay here book treking with us está ubicado en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis. Jhony es una persona excelente, amable y servicial. Hicimos el trekking de 3 días y 2 noches con él y el trato por su parte, su guía y staff fue genial. Son muy respetuosos con la jungla, los animales y el medio ambiente. Te explica todo con detalle. Pudimos observar muchos orangutanes y diferentes tipos de monos y su guía nos cuidó en todo momento sintiéndonos muy seguros. Muy recomendable hacer, al menos, una noche en la selva y, si tienes tiempo, dos. La comida que nos daban era exquisita. Además, a mitad mañana te servían diferentes frutas con mucho detalle. La bajada por el río también fue muy divertida. En resumen, es una experiencia inolvidable y muy auténtica. Con él te puedes comunicar perfectamente en inglés, lástima que el guía no lo hablaba.

JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us está ubicado frente al mar en Bukit Lawang y tiene un bar. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. My room was just on the river bank and i can just sitting there watching the river whole day.

SeaGate Bungalows está ubicado en Sabang y tiene un jardín, zona de playa privada, una terraza y restaurante. Los huéspedes tienen a disposición un baño termal y servicio de alquiler de autos. La habitación era muy limpio, cómodo y simplemente idílico. Además tenía una ducha medio-fuera de lluvia muy agradable. Borja y Yuyun son muy amables y atentos! Además de darnos un montón de tips para cosas que hacer en la isla nos consiguieron un pastel para celebrar el cumpleaños que hizo nuestra estancia una verdadera pasada! Gracias!!

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys está ubicado en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín, salón compartido, una terraza y restaurante. El alojamiento ofrece un bar y parrilla. Maravillosa casa y mejores anfitriona y equipo. Sarah y su equipo de personas nos ha ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado y tambien en la organizacion del trecking de dos dias en la Jungla con los mejores guias. La casa tiene un precioso jardin y mucha tranquilidad. La comida en casa de Sarah es excelente. Recomiendo mucho a Sarah! Muchas gracias Sarah y a todo el equipo! Hemos estado inmejorablemente bien con vosotros!

Kupu Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe está ubicado frente al mar en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín y una terraza. Las habitaciones tienen patio con vista al río. Occasionally on my many travels over the years I have come across a place where I could quite easily stay put and while away the days, somewhere quiet literally at peace with itself and the world and I'm happy to say Kupu Kupu is one of those places. But is not just the place its the people that run it that make it so, so, special. Arif, Risky, my guide Putra, and Su you all touched my heart. Arif for your humanity and warmth, Risky for your infectious laugh positivity and the wonderful garden you tend that helps make Kupu Kupu so special, Putra my wonderful guide who took such good care of me on our jungle trek after I sprained my ankle. Such a special person and always ready with a smile and his( Ooops) not so wonderful signing (sorry Putra :) Huge congratulations on the birth of your son :) Last but not least Sue, I loved our chats in the evening, you have created such a wonderful place I hope you find the means and the will to keep it going. The communal meals in the evenings are also a great opportunity to connect and share stories with other travellers too. Yes, it’s located outside the village of Bukit Lawang meaning a 20–30-minute walk along what can be at times a tricky path meaning it won't suit all, particularly those with mobility issues. For me though it’s very charm was that it outside the town and set by the river in jungle. The sound of the river at night a soothing backdrop to fall asleep to. I could go on and on, but I will wrap up with my usual last question, would I go back to which I answer, yes within a heartbeat.

Batu Kapal Guest House & Jungle trekking está ubicado en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar. La estancia en Batu Kapal ha sido de 10. El personal es muy simpatico, muy amable y se han mostrado siempre atentoa para ayudarnos en todo. El hotel esta situado cerva de la selva, no hay ruidos para dormir y se oyen y ven monos (y orangutanes también ql parecer, pero nosotroa no loa vimos). La habitacion estaba muy bien, con vistas a la selva y con un baño, todo perfecto. En el hotel hay un reataurante increible, con platos tipicos de Indonesia, miy muy ricos y baratos. Tambien hay un rio a 2 minutos andando sel hotel, que es donde vimos a los monos. Hicimos el trekking de los orangutanes de 2 dias y una noche con ellos y no pudo ser mejor, vimos a todo tipo de monos y orangunaes. Gracias Zuzu y Habibi y a todo el personal por todo!
