Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

Nice and entirely clean room with warm water and AC. At good location, close to park entrance, supermarket and beach. Owner, Lea, and her staff were great. Lea, was also our guide on the tours. She was very nice, made efforts to show us many animals and helped us with other things (e.g., transport to Bunaken island in my case). She also organized a night tour on my request, which is not a standard tour and which gave us a different experience. Tours were great and we saw many different animals. Food was also good.

The family of the homestay are lovely and treat you like part of the family straight away. The food was excellent and plentiful. Not only did they cater to vegetarian and vegan diets easily, the food was delicious and a highlight of our stay. For the room, it was small but adequate with a queen size bed with a comfortable mattress. The bathroom was nice with a good pressure cool shower and flushing toilet. Aircon worked great.and was a nice treat. Ken's homestay was the place to be in the evening with live music being played by various talents from across the village. It's a fun and friendly vibe. Some nights are more lively than others which was a nice mix for us. If you are a light sleeper or go to bed early bring earplugs and it is fine. The mornings are nice and quiet and you can wake up to the sound of the waves. You can't even hear the church or the mosque! We went on two snorkelling tours and both were great ways to see other amazing snorkelling spots and we even visited the village on Manado Tua. Good value too. We extended our stay by two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Terima kasih banyak!

June greeted you at the gate when the taxi dropped us off. She was so welcoming. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean offering superb value for money. June was very helpful with answering any questions we had, even so stupid ones. She organised our tour through Tangkoko reserve with much patience as my wife was indecisive in deciding whether to do the first night tour. The guide she organised, Yento was absolutely sensational. He spotted everything, even the smallest of creatures and was so accommodating in sharing his knowledge and helping taking photos when animals were at a distance. Upon leaving June offered her continued support while we were in Sulawesi by suggesting if we had any questions we could contact us and she would help. This is a great homestay and is exceptional value for many and within walking distance to the park. We loved our stay and if we ever return this is where we would stay again.

Perfect little getaway house. Lovely pond outside. I realized that the location didn't really suit me, but Debora and Jeremy went all the way to help me out! There's not really any restaurants in the countryside neighborhood and Debora offered to cook more of their own dinner, which was lovely! 😍🙏 Over all I had a lovely stay!

The twin room is beachfront while the double room is streetside. I recommend beachfront, of course, it has a better view but also less noise from the roosters that are across the street. The double room has more indoor space, and big outdoor sofa bench, if that's what you need. It's right in the kampung village, so it's absolutely susceptible to more noise and activity; but it's also closer to the main pier and other restaurants. Lucky is a fantastic host, and the family puts a lot of care into the homestay. It's simple but very clean and cozy. There's many small thoughtful things about the place, it's an easy place to stay. The food is different every day, and it's easy to ask if you do/don't like something. Communication is very clear and prompt. The reef out front is a long swim before you see anything, but it's nearly the same with other places.
