Not just because of the accomodation, but because of the host. Amadeus is an extremely kind, heartwarming person that will make sure you have the best experience in Esztergom. He is a great example of the hospitality and big heart Hungarian people have. He will give you a beautiful small tour on the way to the house and explain so many interesting facts about the city. The house was equally marvellous. It was wonderfully clean, comfortable, quiet and with every amenity and detail you could think of: kitchenware, pots, pans, a fridge, a table for every room in the living room, some boardgames for children and so many other things. The location is unbeatable in Esztergom. It has beautiful views, it is close to everything and in a very calm and safe neighborhood. So much birdlife, it was a joy to see..The lake front area was very pretty especially in the evening with the reflections of the castle on the lake.. Second,was the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We only stayed one night and our room was great. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet...I must say that the breakfast was super. Unfortunately we did not eat at the restaurant as it was fully booked, so if you want to eat make sure you book in advance..
