Beautiful winery with amazing views. Spacious grounds with loads of hammocks around and lovely shaded areas to hang out. Food was great, we had delicious dinners. Dio and his family were truly amazing hosts. They organised a wine tasting for us where we were given as much fantastic wine as we wanted and a mountain of delicious food. We had a lot of wine in Georgia and it was definitely the best, we took away 6 litres with us!

We are travelling by bike and on our way to Ushguli we decided to stop for 2 night to hide from the rain and to take a rest before the big elevation before Ushguli. We loved the room, simple and comfortable, with the sound of the river. The living room for guests is incredible and we could use the kitchen to make tea and cook. They have there own made matsoni and cheese, which are really delicious and the homemade Khachapuri as well. The hosts are very welcoming and polite, we felt in a really pleasant atmosphere and the communication was easy going. Thank you so much and we wish you all the best!

We had an amazing stay, the host lady and family were so kind and made us feel right at home. One our best stays during our 4 weeks in Georgia. The room was huge, everything was so clean. The coffee station outside the room was a nice touch. And the covered patio was a great addition. We were also thoroughly stuffed after each delicious meal. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Guesthouse Sumaisha está ubicado en Gulida y tiene un jardín y salón compartido. We had a nice double room with a nice private terrace. While far from luxurious, the room was very clean. Hospitality galore with a spectacular breakfast. fully equipped kitchen is available for the guests to you. We found the place to be really nice and enjoyed our stay.

Habitación muy limpia, con aire acondicionado, y nevera, cama cómoda. Entorno maravilloso con vistas a la montaña, sobre bodega de vino familiar que ha cosechado numerosos premios internacionales. Atención inigualable por parte de Tariel y su tía, con cata de vino y tour por la bodega y viñedos. ¡¡Muy recomendable!!

The Lodging: The Gentry House is located in a beautiful and idyllic location in Racha. Top-notch views, and a wonderful soundscape, especially in the morning (a diversity of birds calling, the gentle sound of cowbells twinkling across the hillside, etc.). The overall estate was unlike anything else we experienced in Georgia, and was a real highlight. Misha's family history is fascinating and several incredible artifacts from the 19th century remain. The room was especially nice -- beautifully furnished and well appointed. 10/10. The Host:  The only thing better than the lodging was the Host/Owner, Misha.  He was interesting, fun and very generous.  The latter is an understatement in the extreme.  My baggage, which did not arrive on the flight to Tblisi, was for all intents and purposes lost...I hadn't received it in over nine days and no one knew where it was.  Misha decided to get to the bottom of it, and 50 phone calls later (no exaggeration), my bag was finally in my possession.  It was incredible. A true hero!  If I could give him 100 out of 10 I would.
