I love this place! There is absolutely nothing to complain about! It's a converted residence with one ground floor room and 3 more up a winding staircase. It's a perfect combination of private room and hostel-style interaction with other guests. Owner, Pascal, single-handedly does all the work, keeping the place very clean and tidy. He speaks adequate English. At 25€ (single, mid-May, no breakfast), it's an outstanding value, too. I enjoyed it so much I stayed 3 nights. When there was no availability on the 2nd night, Pascal gave me his room.The four rooms share two bathrooms, half and three-quarter. There is a full shared kitchen/lounge, including an oven and cooking equipment, suitable for preparing full meals. Wi-fi is excellent. There is a constant supply of coffee and tea, a generous set of herbs and spices, ice cubes, and garden lemons. The description says towels and linens cost extra. This is true for towels but linens are included. The rear surroundings are lushly green and the residential street is very quiet. There is a small balcony for smoking or sitting and the large front yard has tables and chairs. There is ample, free street parking. Shopping and the beach are a long walk away, but there is good bus service. Guests should be aware that the rooms do not have external locks so they're accessible when not occupied but I had absolutely no sense of theft danger. If you. like me, don't like standard hotels, this place is for you!

Everything was very pleasant: luxurious breakfast - every day breakfast was new and very tasty! The location is wonderful: very beautiful nature and garden inside the villa. There is space to relax and swim in the pool. You have to arrive by car and there is a tourist town with sea and beach nearby - there are many restaurants and beautiful sea. The host was very nice and always took care of us - we had a bottle of wine and drinks every day. The hotel is pet friendly - amazing chance to travel with our dog! Everything went great! We will come back again.

Friendly atmosphere, great Hosts, beautiful Apartment and decor. Superb breakfast, would highly recommend staying here. Isabel the Host has lots of local knowledge and is very helpful.

LA CASA SANILLS tiene una alberca al aire libre por temporada, jardín, un salón compartido y restaurante en Saint-Hippolyte. Monique was a very gracious host. The house is very interesting and the pool area quite peaceful. Breakfast (especially for those newer to France) could be a bit better, offering croissants, pain au chocolat, etc. For my husband and me however, it was more than fine. We bought a house in the area and if we had more guests than we could accommodate, we would recommend it.

Le S tiene una alberca al aire libre por temporada, salón compartido, una terraza y restaurante en Argelès-sur-Mer. Le S is situated near the small train station [ maybe 5 min walk ] and it is close to local bus stop or small train that can take you toward the beach. It’s very easy to get from place to place. It’s also very close to restaurants, boulangeries, Carrefour cité, and the occasional street marker- depending on the day of the week. The streets are quiet at night so it’s great for sleep! I was grateful for the A/C and the ceiling fan which helped circulate the cool air.
