We grew up in the country and farm life is familiar. Big room, lots of space, comfortable bed. Fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. The family seemed nice from the moment we booked and the same when we met them. Their little gifts, including a delicious cake, were lovely. They made us feel welcome and will definitely be welcome again.

This is a beautiful house, very well cared for. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There are a lot of song birds in the area and it is a very quiet place to stay. The breakfast was divine with yogurt topped with nuts and some granola. Bread was freshly baked, meats and cheese laid out beautifully, coffee, and an egg. The breakfast room is very attractive. And the host carried our large suitcase up and down the stairs to the second floor where the rooms are located.

While some rooms have shared bathrooms, those are exceptionally nice bathrooms and not what you'd expect when you read "shared". There were also many small touches that made it cosy (the extra coffe/tea bar, etc). And of course Adam, the host, was very friendly and always had good recommendations. Bonus: the breakfast you could buy extra even catered to Gluten free diet.
