We had a lovely stay at Despina Country Retreat. Both hosts were lovely and helpful and really welcomed us into their home. Great breakfast too. We had a bit of an eventful start to the day we left when our rental car broke down. The hosts went out of their way to help us and were very generous with their time. We didn't mind waiting for the replacement car though as there were a couple of cute kittens to play with :)

Of course, Larnaca is small, so the appartment is not far from the beach and city center. And the bus from the airport stops there. There is nothing more to say about the room. Now, about the host: in one word: dedication. Fadi is dedicated to make the stay of his guests as confortable as possible. He makes himself always available, in case you need to ask him something. He gives you good places recommendation, he is very patient ( I had some trouble with the bus system in Larnaca and he was a valuable help and was very patient with me. The wine making area itself you will not see a better representation of the traditional home wine making area and press. We saw others but none come close to the quality tucked away in the museum.
