Room was cozy and had everything you might need including AC. Pool and views were UNREAL GORGEOUS! All of our meals (breakfast & dinner) were exceptional quality and taste. Our host Yaan will forever be remembered!! The yoga class we attended with him was one of the most informative and resetting I have ever experienced. Also we received the best massages of our lives. The location felt very local but in a good way. We didn't have to bother with tons of other tourists. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will be coming back. I would also note we did all the suggested excursions and had a wonderful time on all.

We had this big house where we could fit in with a extra bed on the floor but it worked fine. You are located in the heart of a farm family owned. The owner is Hermida, a lovely lady who is helped by the whole family, her grandson who speaks english came to welcome us. You have to take the breakfast and diner there, it is like being in Sra Hermida's kitchen. You eat fresh products from the farm. It is just a lovely location and they have so much to tell you about the place. We recommend 4x4 to explore Monteverde and to get to the house but the view is amazing from your lodge. Do not hesitate

We really enjoyed the setting of our room in the jungle where the rustic outdoor kitchen connect us to the nature . The bedroom and bath look out to the forest. The shower with 3 different heads was great. The place was built 6 years ago by European couple, Cat from France and Phil from Germany. The decoration of the lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The swimming pool was a great escape for the hot humid weather. We also enjoyed meeting a white nosed coati, a vulture and a group of squirrel monkeys in the backyard. We woke up by all kind of sounds from animal kingdom ..... We appreciate that the hosting couple went out their way to welcome us with good fruits and assisted us.

Just be prepared that you will access the house via a steep gravel road just slightly outside of the main part of Santa Elena. It's good to have an SUV with good ground clearance in Monteverde and this is no different.

It was beautiful waking up to the sounds of the rainforest, I stayed at a beautiful cabin surrounded with trees. The unit was very comfortable and the lodge has very nice communal areas. Great friendly host and secured inside parking. The area is very quiet a short drive to the center.

Casa Colores has colorful houses with private parking and free fiber optic Wi-Fi connection. All have fully equipped kitchens, safes, private bathrooms with hot showers and free toiletries. The manager Mercedes was very helpful and genuinely seemed to care about her guests (she stood out in the rain waiting for us to arrive on the first night). Her activity recommendations were great and she helped us navigate the tides and told us how to go see a baby turtles release. She helped organize a surf lesson, which we enjoyed. The welcome booklet was helpful. The casita was comfy and cute and the pool was inviting. The water was hot, plentiful, and safe to drink. The restaurant next door was delicious! It was a 5 min drive to town and close to the main road, so it was easy to get to. We didn't notice too much road noise. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after we checked out. If we come back to Montezuma, we'll stay here again.
