Very nice lodge in Puerto Narino, we were staying in a double room with, comfortable bed, there are two very efficient fans and a mosquito net around the bed (we were there during a dry season so not many mosquitoes). Breakfast, simple but nice, served at a little terrace, and a small kitchen is also available. There is a nice balcony with a view to the river to chill. The staff can help you organise activities in the Amazon with their guide Alex, who took us to a nice trip to a village across the river in Peru, to see the sloths and visit a community. They have a wide range of activities, recommend informing yourself a few days before and making a plan, but you can also find something on the spot. Be advised that there are domestic animals in the gardens around so you will likely wake up early with the sound of roosters - but that is part of the experience!

La Ceiba, Amazonas en Leticia ofrece hospedaje con un jardín, una terraza y un restaurante. La casa de huéspedes cuenta con habitaciones familiares. Spent 4 nights here and had a brilliant time. Mocagua is a little paradise on the Amazon river and La Ceiba is a perfect base to soak it in and explore the area. Maria arranged a guide for us (he met us in Leticia - it’s quite awkward to get to boat terminal etc so having someone local made it a lot easier, his name was Romain and was brilliant). Loads of activities to do and the food was simple but delicious- if you are hungry between meals can go and grab a fresh sweet mango that has fallen off a tree! Rooms are basic (no air con and limited electricity) but this adds to the authenticity of the experience. I’d definitely recommend La Ceiba to experience La Amazonas.

Contando con un jardín, Hotel Tatüane mundo Amazónico está ubicado en Puerto Nariño. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

Eco Hostel RENASE en Leticia ofrece hospedaje solo para adultos con un jardín y instalaciones para parrilladas. It's a very quiet place, great to sleep, to rest and to medidate. It's surrounded by the forest. The food is delicious and tipical of the Amazon.

Situado en Macedonia, en un edificio que data de 2018, Hostal Ebenezer Macedonia cuenta con un jardín y habitaciones con WiFi gratis. Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.

Ubicado en Leticia, Tucuma Casa Hotel ofrece hospedaje con WiFi gratis y TV de pantalla plana, así como un salón compartido. Ingrid is absolutely lovely. Whole building was very clean. Close to city center. Bedroom had a big window for Airflow. Our room was at the back, no street noise at all.
