Very comfortable and stylish homestay with a well thought-out Colonial aesthetic. A lot of plants and greenery in the inner courtyard, all of which creates a relaxing and peaceful environment. Big room, good mattress and updated bathroom. Very friendly and helpful family owners. Good breakfast which was cooked with care. I had a motorbike but even so I preferred to walk into the market area and main part of town. It is a very pedestrian-friendly town, and a very clean and friendly place too. Pia homestay is deservedly very popular and so I would recommend that you book well in advance.

The owner/attendant is a very kind person. He answered all our questions and helped us with directions to where we could catch a local bus to the waterfalls. He even directed us to the best non pork restaurants in town. The accommodation is the best we were able to cook breakfast for ourselves in their well equipped kitchen.

Everything. Clean room, welcoming host, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Lovely garden in front of the room and lastly a healthy and fulfilling breakfast. Liked the place so much.

Friendly and very helpful hosts. The lady and her husband are always smiling, ready to help with advice. She offered us water and fresh towels every day. Possibility of washing clothes in the accommodation. All locations and route maps to the nearest shops, pizzerias, as well as food and vegetable markets are listed in the room. All the things you need as a traveler are very close. Possibility of renting scooters. I highly recommend it.

Great experience at this homestay. May, the host, is such a lovely human being and she goes above and beyond to please you. I stayed in the dorm which is new and super clean. It’s such a shame that I only got to spwnd one night here. I will come back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sen’s homestay. Clean and cozy room. There is a shared kitchen upstairs where you can enjoy your morning cafe coffee with a nice view. The family is very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this place if you want to explore Cao Bang
