Our room was upgraded, which was great. The shower facilities had centralized heating and water pressure was strong. The receptionist/staff Kathrine, was super helpful and was available 24/7 for any questions or assistance required. The hotel looked like it was newly renovated.

Absolutely loved my stay. It's very simple accommodation but it's really clean and the bedrooms are lovely. Set back just off of the main road so it's really quiet. The shower was hot, WiFi was strong enough for me to work, and there was free coffee in the mornings. Would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay, only short walk from the centre. The owner was very friendly, I could check in early. The room was clean, the bed comfy, a hot shower which was great after a rainy day. Very quiet at night :) Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Mavy’s Maligcong Homestay. The place is simple but very comfortable, offering everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the mountains. The beds were cozy and warm, which was perfect for the cool Maligcong weather. I appreciated the extra blankets and clean linens—they made a big difference after a long day of hiking. Cleanliness was clearly a priority at Mavy’s. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were all well-maintained and tidy. The bathrooms had a steady supply of water and were kept clean throughout our stay. Even in a rural, remote location like this, the homestay managed to feel fresh and hygienic, which isn’t always easy to find in mountain accommodations. Overall, Mavy’s Homestay was both clean and comfortable, making it an ideal base for exploring the rice terraces and enjoying the tranquility of Maligcong.

If your journey takes you to Banaue Homestay, you're in for a treat—mostly thanks to the incredible Beatriz. Honestly, we've rarely met someone with such an infectious energy on our travels! Beatriz didn’t just host us—she orchestrated an amazing itinerary for our four-day stay in Banaue and the surrounding area. Her cooking? Absolutely delicious, especially the curry dishes (we may or may not have considered smuggling some home). The room and bathroom were spotless, the beds wonderfully comfortable, but the real highlight? Her laughter—so contagious it could probably cure a bad mood in seconds.
