The location is right on the City to Sea track, on a very quiet residential street. The hosts were very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Henri (5) was an excellent guide, showing us the room, bathroom, toilet and other facilities. There was parking in their driveway and bus stops 5 minutes walk away. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent.

The whole setting is amazing, the house, the garden, the scenery. The highway is nearby but the noise doesn't come through. The interior of the house is preserved as if nothing has changed since the XIX century. Both inside and out, the house looks like a sibling of the rich house museums of the past that you can visit in Dunedin. There is the music room on the ground floor - with the grand piano! When you play it, the whole room responds and resonates in a pleasant way. Jenny and Gerard are friendly hosts. They do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

Big clean room with private bathroom. Big wardrobes in the room, spacious clean bathroom. Bed was nice and comfortable. Came with a small cute balcony. Complimentary breakfast items in the kitchen like oats, cornflakes, milk, etc. Best part is the location- the homestay is around 20-25 mins walk from the airport (around 5 mins by car).
