The apartment was beautiful. It had everything I needed and the location is great. Only an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. You can get to Mahebourg easily as the busses will stop outside the front gate. The bathroom was really nice and it has a kitchen with all the facilities you need to make a meal. The apartment is very modern. It was nice to spend the time there as there was one day where the weather was bad so luckily it was good that the apartment was such a pleasure to stay in.

Chez Henri was a great find! We booked last minute and they kindly were able to get a room made up for us. The photos don't really do it justice; it's a lovely unique home with beautiful features. The room is on the top floor and is light, airy and spacious, with a sofa and a little kitchen area so you don't have to drive somewhere for dinner. It's a nice area and the beach was blessedly quiet. In the morning I was able to walk there in a couple of minutes and have a lovely sunrise swim. Henri and his wife are very welcoming with a nice energy, and made us a perfect breakfast to enjoy on the terrace of their beautiful front garden. Max (lovely big hairy cuddly dog) was a highlight for me too 🥰

Amazing and lovely host 👏 ☺️ . Really clean and well kept 👌😍 I got a taste of Mauritius welcoming these are my family now even not by blood but by heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️... Thank you for this welcoming hospitality 🙏😉☺️😍❤️ And of most they are amazing,very helpful and caring people ☺️❤️. Great place for adventure, lots of aquatic activities. Beautiful beaches , museum and church , amazing restaurants ( coins casse croute, Kim boulette), thale waterfront on Sunday & Monday market really different each days but awesome.

    What a wonderful experience at this homestay! The 4 rooms on the lower floor of the house are for guests and the upper floor of the house is the home of the owners. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. I slept very well on my double bed. The shared bathroom is cleaned daily and there is plenty of hot water in the shower. The large kitchen made available for guests has many cooking pots, pans, and utensils. The location is on a quiet street, only 5 minute walk to the world famous Blue Bay Beach!

    Manoella was a very good host. She gave us good advice regarding restaurants, car hire etc. The Blue Bay view is equisite and you are 2 minutes walk away from the beach.
