My stay with Ika and Egi was one of the best experiences through all my travels in Indonesia. They created a beautiful place that looks like a dream and feels like home at the same time. We spent four days with them and we talked, we cooked, we signed, we laughed and we learned a lot. My heart is so full after being with them, I can only feel grateful to had the opportunity to find this place and experience it. we discovered this hidden gem thanks to a traveler who spoke so passionately about it that we had to see it for ourselves, and we’re SO GLAD we did tucked away in nature and far from the usual tourist paths, we found ourselves completely alone in this peaceful haven we were welcomed with warmth by Aiwa and his wonderful team, who more than hosted us: they shared a piece of their lives with us the rooms were simple but clean, we only stayed one night but truly wished we had more time there we also booked a day tour through the homestay with Yusup and Anwing, two amazing and funny guides. we explored terebatu's amazing landscapes and encountered very few tourists to Aiwa, Yusup, Anwing, Iwan, and Amana: thank you from the bottom of our hearts, our time at avocado hostel will always hold a special place in our hearts ❤️

This is a beautiful property with a room that has a comfortable bed, AC, and large bathroom. The highlight is the beautiful private terrace overlooking rice fields. I did yoga and spent a lot of time on the hammock here during our stay. The best part of this homestay is the host family. Sukry, his sisters and mother go above and beyond in ensuring you are having a great time. The dinners here were amazing, some of the best food we had in Indonesia and the breakfast is delicious and filling. It was home cooked food packed with flavor. We did a rice fields, monkey forest and waterfall tour with Sukry which was really fun - it was great to learn about all the different kinds of local produce grown here and explore the nature around. Sukry also organized our transportation to Tetebatu from Bangsal Pier and from Tetebatu to Kuta Lombok at very reasonable prices. This is not just a homestay but a unique way to experience authentic Lombok culture through the generosity, warmth and openness of Sukry and his family. Sukry is very involved with helping the community and even donates part of the proceeds from the homestay and tours to the local orphanage. Highly recommend!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The homestay is set in a beautiful location with views over the rice terraces. The team was incredibly welcoming, making us feel completely at home throughout our stay. We stayed for 2 nights and I wish we had stayed longer. Jonny and everyone there were super friendly and welcoming. The views of the rice fields were lovely to wake up to and chill by the sunset. We took the walking tour where our guide Ari (and Oni) took us around Tetebatu. Showed us how coffee, spices and coconut oil are made, as well as the beautiful rice terraces of Tetebatu (with little to no tourists around) and some amazing waterfalls. Also the food was amazing! (Try out the Olah-Olah) Everything was truly amazing, they really show you the true Tetebatu experience.

Amazing hand made bambou bungalow built few months ago by the owner Girang. It is the only bungalow in the middle of a beautiful garden and surrounded by rice fields. Clean, confortable and brand new facilties. The view from the bed is just insane, strait on Rinjani Mount. If you are also looking for a local immersion in the culture of Lombok, go there. I met all his family, I cooked with them for diner, look for the vegies in their garden, did a bonfire at night. What a nice experience. Thank you for this good moment !
