Everything was exceptional! The hosts are amazingly kind and generous. Peso picked us up from the overnight bus and let us into our rooms at 7am, gave us breakfast and got us on his tour for the day. He’s a great guide and runs very smooth tours, he is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Toraja culture and history, his English is good. The room and house is of hotel standard, with homestay personal care and attention. The cleanest feet I’ve had in Indonesia! The best homestay of our travels! The food is delicious and abundant! Quiet location yet central enough, beautiful views. The hosts also dropped us at the bus station for our returning overnight bus, after our 3 day stayed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

Ibrah was an absolutely amazing host. He couldn’t do enough for us. The place was spotless, the breakfast was huge and room were perfect! It felt like a real family home in Toraja! Definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed during our travels. Thank you Ibrah for an amazing stay! We hope to return one day!

Beautiful homestay, with the best host. Pak Imanuel is very kind and helpful and makes the best pancakes!! The view from the homestay is amazing as it is right in the middle of the ricefields. The rooms are also nice and clean. If you go to Toraja, stay there;)

We had a wonderful stay. Views around are very beautiful. Very tasty food. Familly owning the homestay is very kind. Yansen took us to see the funeral ceremony and showed us around the town which was very interesting. He speaks very good english and is very knowledgable on the history and culture. Speaking about homestay, the rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. There was a hot shower. Also bed was very comfortable. We rented a scooter and had a ride around town and surrounding areas, which was very beautiful. 10/10 expierence overall, would definetely recommend and I would love to come back again!

We liked the kindness of the owners, Daud is excellent host, very helpful - he is also a local guide. The whole place is very clean - I would say exceptionally clean with beautiful plants, trees and flowers in the garden. Plus you have coffee and breakfast every morning - banana pancakes are amazing! You can meet a lot of travellers, backpackers here and exchange information about your trips..

The room and all facilities are really clean, we enjoyed the breakfast every morning, location is good only a short drive to the main road and quiet location. The bed was really comfy and good shower pressure. The best part was our hosts, Bella and her parents! Such lovely people it felt like we were a part of their family; they took care of us so well and were so welcoming. Felt right at home. Thank you!!

I loved the location with amazing views from the balcony of the property. Paulus and his wife were both extremely helpful with any requests such as organising trips around Toraja and event drove me to the bus station on my return. Breakfast was delicious also! I found it a great opportunity also to meet other guests travelling around Sulawesi.

Sarah the host herself is just the best, funiest and sweetest soul ever! Sie helped us so much and made our stay just more then perfekt from the minute we stepped into her door at 5 am :) Homemade breakfast, very clean room, balcony, best communication, scooter rental. Whole Team is amazing!

    Great homestay, big beds, hot shower with good pressure and a shared bathroom that's always clean. Breakfast is one of the best I've had in whole Indonesia. Above all, Ibra is a lovely host and would do anything to help you or make your day better, give you recommendations, his contacts. The funeral ceremony tour with him was also an amazing experience. Absolutely recommended!

    Lovely host family. Paulus (host) did take us to a Torajan funeral as a guide. Also he arranged a rental motorbike/moped for us. His wife Ernie makes the best banana pancakes for breakfast!!

    Meske and her family are the best host family you could ever wish for! Your stay will be a true experience with the locals, their food and habits. Meske goes the extra mile; she will spend evenings with you to help you plan your programme and suggest the best guides and drivers. This is not a simple stay - you should know you will leave your heart in Toraja ;)
