Very kind and welcoming host. I could not speak to the rest of the family but Izzet is fluent in English, which was great for interesting conversations during dinner. I got enormous amounts of mostly local food - some of which I liked and others I didn’t. That’s part of the experience! Also, the bed was very comfortable and there are extra blankets when it’s cold. WiFi is also surprisingly good. I did an extra afternoon activity (50 Manat) where we got driven up the river on the back of a GAZ-66 truck, did a little hike to a waterfall and made some tea with snacks. I can highly recommend this!

Elnur was very much helpful. He took care of everything. Introduced me to the place and made sure I would feel comfortable. The view from the window was imaginary. I couldn't believe it was real.
