Very kind host willing to help with everything you would need and very good communication. 10-15 minutes by foot till center area with supermarket ( there are two small shops exactly near the house with fresh food like meat, fruits or vegetables ), bars, nice and very good restaurants etc. The room was big enough with a nice kitchen. Cute dog of the owners :)

It is a guest house which is rare in Argentina and corresponds much more to my way of travelling because it allows me to meet the locals people. The owners are absolutely charming and very generous with their time but also with small gifts (cake, asado etc.) and invitation. Marias is so available for informations. The garden is enchanting and the house very nicely decorated. The city center is only a 25-minute walk away and excursions are easy to organize. A simple walk in the lagoon (30 minutes walk from Maria's house) will allow you to discover many birds and to see the snowy peaks from Los Glacier national park. This establishment and its host, Maria, are in the TOP 10 of my trips, I thus decided to extend my stay.

Located in downtown Calafate, Las Cabañitas offers rooms with free WiFi access. The property features a lovely garden with BBQ facilities. Rooms at Las Cabañitas are simply furnished and cosy.

The best of our stay in Argentina. I will recommend it at 250%. Love the atmosphere of the office, it has history. The jardin have lavender and "groseilles" really well maintained. The bedroom are really clean and comfortable for 4 people or less. Only thing is the pump is noisy but we were so tired so it was ok. The kitchen is equipped and the owner left some eggs to take. The staffs are of course so friendly and they try their best to help us between Spanish and English. It make our trip so smooth when we have a great hosts and "habitacion". Well done "Las Cabañitas

lovely little room for 3 people, the place was always very clean. The host was lovely and very welcoming. Very large well equipped kitchen, and a good social area, would recommend for your stay in El Calafate.

Everything is great great here.. Location with stunning landscapes.. New hostel with very clean spaces, Great views from window & restaurant, Amazing tours organized, staff responsiveness - everything was beyond expectations.. Reception staff Momo was excellent, always smiling & happily answers all the questions with patience.. Can't praise this hostel enough in words!!
