To start, the hosts are great. The atmosphere is something that calms you with a farm/homestead vibe. I recommend ordering the dinner and breakfast as they are well worth the money. Their own wine is tasty as well. I really recommend this place for at least two nights (we stayed for one and regretted not being able to book another). The room is really nice: we had a separate little shack for ourselves.

Marijana and Spiro are the warmest hosts we could have imagined and wished for, the kind of people you want to have around you and in your life, not only on holiday. At every moment and with every little detail, we felt at home, well taken care for. As for the view that Ionian Sunset House offers, words are almost unnecessary - it is perfect. Cleanliness and comfort are also at the highest level.

    The location is superb, up on the slope above the road and the beach. Parking is safe , behind a locked gate. Bedrooms are upstairs, they have large windows and glass doors with a large balcony overlooking the village. We had breakfast on the terrace(weather permitting) and our lovely host has prepared a fantastic and varied meal every morning with home made bread, juice and jams, fresh fruit from the garden. By far our best stay in Albania!

    The location in Qeparo, the view from the two balconies, and the setting of the house within the sweet neighborhood and gardens is amazingly beautiful. You can listen to the calming sound of the ocean from bed and balcony. Besides, the village is untroubled and peaceful and the locals are very welcoming. On top, the hostess is super friendly and helpful and always available per WhatsApp. She organized a shuttle to Qeparo and back to Tirana Airport for us!
