We were welcomed with free ginjinha, a must try local drink. We were also allowed to store our luggage for hours on our last day, free of charge. -The included breakfast was delicious and a pianist was playing music in a nearby room but we recommend going earlier for more food selection. -The room and hotel location were very beautiful and convenient with a nice view of the Praça Luís de Camões, a nearby bakery, convenience store, pharmacy and tramway station. -We highly recommend reserving for Fado's night at Palácio das Especiarias, a 400 years old palace that offers an incredible Portuguese culinary and musical experience with live Fado music.
Baixa / Chiado, Lisbon
Enjoying a privileged location in the historic center of Lisbon, the property is a former palace whose construction dates back to the 16th century. This boutique hotel combines modern comfort with a classic atmosphere. Palacio is one of the most amazing and authentic hotels we have ever visited. To be honest the word hotel is just too simple for this special place - this is a SIGNATURE STAY. Everything about this palace is extraordinary. And trust us when we say that the pictures on booking do not do this original palace justice. Everything here is just one huge warm welcome! And of course, an outstanding experience away from home is never just about the comfortable beds, the continental breakfast or the authentic entourage - it is also all about the PEOPLE that make your stay memorable. At Palacio we had soooooo many people who went out of their way to make our visit outstanding. From the dear people in the kitchen and the dining rooms every morning, preparing and serving our lush breakfast, to the impeccably dressed doormen and reception-ladies, who were ready 24 hours a day to attend to our every need! Come rain or come shine. Thank you Allan, Victoria, Ricardo, Lucio, Joao, Daniel and one name that we could not remember exactly: Diogo/Diego... there were more than 15 great people. All so warmhearted, welcoming, polite and funny. You made our trip to Lisboa one to never forget! Love from Amsterdam - Mare and son Duuk

Perfect for my first night in Lisbon! A guesthouse but with the style & friendliness of a boutique hostell. Charming sitting areas, kitchen & garden. Really appreciated bejng able to check in up to midnight. Bathrobe & slippers was a nice touch, and the bathrooms were spotless.
Great location, close to the city Center and bars and restaurants but the street of the hostel was quiet. Decent breakfast and nice shared spaces.
+ great apartments + great view + great host management, attention to every detail + great location (city center, public transport, the shop nearby, local restaurants, etc.)
Great location out of the city center, but with many restaurants around. Sofia is a great hostess. The house is a modern attic
Great location, great hosts. The place was clean and nice with a complimentary bottle of wine to stat the day right. The center of Cascais is walking distance, while the place itself is very calm and quaint. Lot's of activities (table tennis, pool, trampoline, old-timey foosball etc) available.
It was easy to find, thanks to clear instructions, and the host was helpful with bag storage and early check-in. The location was perfect for getting around - a 5-minute walk to the main square and waterfront, as well as a full range of public transport nearby. Great restaurant on the doorstep. The facilities were straightforward, as befits an old house in the old quarter. It was charming, quiet, clean - and good value. Lisbon isn't cheap!
