The bungalow is spotless clean and everything in great working condition. A big bonus - drinking water is provided. Transfers were included. A nice fridge is a plus.

The huge terrace with a view where we spent most of the time. Henry was amazing host! Going above everything we expected.

Rainwater for the showers and toilets, bring your own drinking water, and solar electric (that worked most of the time). Fans and sea breezes, no A/C. No WiFi, "two-bar" cellular. Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.

La distancia del pueblo, que conlleva además un traslado obligado en barco, es lo que hace este lugar tan mágico. Y agradecemos mucho la flexibilidad con la que nos permitieron agruparnos para aprovechar al máximo la estancia. Una decena de cabañas sencillas, pero muchísimo más cómodas y limpias de lo esperado, componen este pequeño resort familiar y con encanto. Lo mejor? Disfrutar de la playa de día, casi en solitario, y de noche, para ver las estrellas como nunca.
