The view is outstanding and the room is excellent. It was so good that we stayed in every night for dinner to enjoy the view and location. We were exceptionally well hosted and the room was great value with breakfast and cheeses provided. We would definitely return and recommend this for your next stay.

Beautifully fitted out. The bed was so comfortable! Very private. Great little walk to the Stone Store. We loved looking out the big windows into the garden and eating on the deck. A really relaxing place to stay.

Our experience with Karen at Paradise On the Strand surpassed all expectations... and after seeing the photos and reading the reviews, our expectations were high! This was the pinnacle of excellent lodging experiences during our 7 weeks in New Zealand. Karen provided just the right amount of friendly genuine engagement, and privacy. A short walk through the bush each morning took us to Long Beach to watch the sun rise, coffee in hand (coffee cart on beach). Sunsets were spectacular! BREAKFASTS were presented each day with abundance, freshness, creativity and variety; always delicious! Home-made yoghurt, honey from Karen's son's hives, AND warm bread just out of the oven for an afternoon tea surprise! We WILL return!

Top of the Bay está ubicado en Paihia, a 14 minutos a pie de Playa de la bahía de Te Ti y a 11 km de Opua Forest. The location up the hill from the town offered a lovely view of the Bay and was very peaceful and private.
