And the rooms are nice and cool. Staff were really nice as well.

The location was very convenient — just a few minutes’ walk from the ADO bus terminal. There is also a nice park nearby that seems to be the center of the town, with many restaurants around it. The colectivo stop for Chichén Itzá is also within walking distance. There was also a bank nearby, and I was able to withdraw cash from the ATM around 9 PM without any problem. Basically, most things are within a few minutes’ walk. I arrived at night, and the staff kindly told me that I could pay the next day, which was very helpful. The hostel has a kitchen and a water dispenser, which is very useful. I didn’t use it myself, but they can also help you book tours. The staff were very kind and always explained things clearly when I had questions.

Hostal Chirrín está ubicado en Valladolid. La casa de huéspedes cuenta con habitaciones familiares. This was the most amazing place. The hosts were just lovely. I fell sick after one day and they were looking after me like I was family. I felt so at home and so comfortable and seen. I have never experienced anything like this. If you’re looking for connection and people that have recommendations for basically every place in Mexico, this is what you’re looking for. The rooms are spacious, as are the beds, with private bathrooms. Everything is simple, but very clean and comfortable. Everything in the city is within walking distance and some great taco places are just around the corner.
