The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!

Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya cuenta con bicis gratuitas, alberca al aire libre, un jardín y salón compartido en Sigiriya. Super nice rooms, well decorated, very clean and calm. The private pool is a real plus. Perfect to chill and relax. Mahesh is the manager of the place and was offering to us free pick up from the center to the cottage which really helped us a lot. I really recommend this place. The only 2 things that do not match with the description of the hotel: no free pick up from dambulla and no bikes to lend in the place.

They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I felt so well taken care of—like coming home to family.

Nos dio un café o te de bienvenida y le pedimos cenar allí y nos hizo kottu muy rico. Desayuno genial también. Wifi de 10!

Espacio exterior con unas sillas para descansar, vistas a un jardín precioso. La ubicación era adecuada para nosotros porque teníamos alquilado nuestro propio tuktuk. Repetiríamos sin duda. We were really impressed with this guest house. The owner, Ashoka, went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. He was very personable and the service was great. We also enjoyed the dinner and breakfast we had. I’d really recommend staying here!
