This was on my bucket list for a very long time. Spending a night in the very house that the legend Geoffrey Bawa lived & worked was in itself a moving experience. Beautifully maintained by the trust. Every corner, every piece of furniture & art has a story to tell. Staff is wonderful & breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to return to Colombo & stay here again.

Amazing boutique hotel, we choose it because of the art and design , but when we arrived it was much more. The hotel upgraded to the room with jacuzzi, but it was the garden and the furniture, the mosaics and the details that fascinated us.

Beautiful clean room. Staff were delightful and helpful. Breakfast was delicious (had both Sri Lankan and non Sri Lankan options). A bit out of town but we thought absolutely worth it. Would stay again. Loved it and didn't want to leave!

I have traveled many times and stayed in numerous hotels, but none have matched the comfort and care I found here. A heartfelt thanks to the owner, Mr. Shane, the manager, Sisira, and the entire staff, who went above and beyond to take care of me, especially when I was unwell. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with so much attention to detail. The rooms are spotlessly clean, neat, and designed to provide maximum comfort. The environment is stunning, especially with the serene riverside view that adds so much charm and peace to the stay. What impressed me further was the reasonable pricing, which is more than justified for the exceptional service and experience they provide. For me, this place has become more than just a hotel—it’s my second home. Whenever I return to Sri Lanka, I won’t be looking for another place to stay, because I’ve already found the perfect one. 💖

Looking for history without kitsch I discovered this discrete Guesthouse . Away from the crowds of Colombo, the spacious room and antique charm gave me a fantastic rest after exploring Sri Lanka’s capital. With all the qualities of a classic hotel I could enjoy style and comfort while maintaining the privacy of home.

Studio 33 está ubicado en Battaramulla, a 10 km de Estación de tren Bambalapitiya y a 10 km de Estadio R. Premadasa. Ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, una terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento.... It was beautiful and clean. Spacious. Nice decor. Everything was thought of right down to an umbrella at the door.

The host was friendly, and the facilities were great especially the shower. The bed was a bit short though, I am 1,88m. Also there was a short narrow path you had to walk to get to the room and my 66L bag could only just fit in scratching the walls.

What truly made my stay memorable was the kind uncle who was working there. He was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed, and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a warm and hassle-free stay in Colombo!
