I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU cuenta con hospedaje climatizadas en Nochchiyagama. Hay una terraza y sus huéspedes pueden hacer uso del WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. Las habitaciones son enormes, nuevas y con un porche a un jardín, el trato fue encantador, la comida muy rica y la ayuda al organizar el safari fueron de 10, volvería sin lugar a duda.

La amabilidad de toda la familia es espectacular. Se preocupan por todo. Ubicación fantástica pues está a las puertas del PN Wilpattu. Cena muy abundante, hay que decirle que ponga menos para no tirar comida, pero estaba riquísima.

Kalhara is the perfect host , highly attentive and thoughtful about every small detail. The rooms are spacious, with a minimal aesthetic, well maintained and super clean. Every meal was a lovely home cooked spread, accommodating certain dietary restrictions . One of the best stay experiences I had during my two week trip in Srilanka.

Ruwan and his family/team are great hosts. They organise all you need and more if you have issues (like us with incovenient cash notes, shuttle from the train station, etc.). Would always recommend staying in Visu Villa hotel if one is in the region of Habarana. The food is great as well and always fresh made. The tours are fantastic as well.

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

La familia es súper agradable, te ayudan con todo, son muy honestos, la comida estaba muy buena, el trato del matrimonio ha sido inmejorable repetiría sin dudarlo! desayuno muy rico y completo.
